At Health and Healing Physical Therapy, we are an Out Of network (OON) provider. This means that you pay cash, up front for services, and are responsible for submitting your claims to your insurance for reimbursement. Before you exit this page there are a few things to consider.
Even if you have insurance, you are still likely to pay out of pocket for physical therapy services. If your deductible is not yet met, your are responsible for the entire cost of the treatment session. At a typical outpatient clinic in Texas, you are looking at costs anywhere between $70 for a treatment, all the way up to $600 depending on the facility and what rates they have contracted with the insurer. So you could be paying way more for your therapy even with your insurance.
If your deductible is met, often times, you are still responsible for for a co-pay or co-insurance until your out-of-pocket max is met. It is not uncommon to see patients spend thousands of dollars in just a few visits, even with insurance benefits.
Serving as an out-of-network provider cuts out the middle man and allows us to tailor a treatment plan that meets your specific needs. There is no waiting for authorization from insurance, no waiting from claim reviewal, and we if you would like more sessions than your insurance would otherwise approve, we can accommodate that.
